Financial Operations Manager for China Marketing

Position Overview

The Finance Manager for China Marketing will oversee the integrated business planning financial outcomes and deliver comprehensive financial analysis regarding sales growth drivers, including price and volume assessments, as well as profitability evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial guidance for Marketing functions, managing an annual SG&A budget.
  • Assist in planning, tracking, and managing SG&A expenditures related to Marketing Research Development and Consumer Business Insights.
  • Participate as a key member of the Integrated Business Planning team, leading integrated reconciliations to consolidate sales forecasts for informed decision-making.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales growth factors, articulating pricing strategies and volume growth insights to support revenue enhancement initiatives.
  • Lead company-wide gross profit analysis aimed at driving data-driven profitability projects.
  • Collaborate with the marketing finance team to streamline reporting, processes, and communication, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support management evaluations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on business analytics and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize multiple data sources into actionable insights.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments and the ability to design effective business processes.
  • Preferred experience in the self-care, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sectors.
  • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or similar roles is advantageous.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
