Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Game Data Analyst to lead and oversee game data analysis initiatives, providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive data-informed decision-making. The successful candidate will develop and implement data collection methodologies, analyze game data to identify player behavior patterns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track game performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee game data analysis initiatives, providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Develop and implement data collection methodologies, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection from various sources.
- Analyze game data to identify player behavior patterns, gameplay trends, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track game performance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of player engagement, monetization, and retention metrics to optimize game design, features, and monetization strategies.
- Utilize statistical modeling and predictive analytics to forecast player behavior and inform business strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in game analytics, continuously enhancing data analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including game designers, product managers, and executives.
- Extensive experience in game data analysis, with a strong track record of delivering actionable insights and driving data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in data collection tools and methodologies, with the ability to design and implement effective data collection processes.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques, with experience in using tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple data analysis projects simultaneously.
- Passion for games and a deep understanding of the gaming industry, including game mechanics, player behavior, and monetization strategies.
