Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer III to join our team at TE Connectivity.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product compliance with specifications and industry standards.
  • Analyze and resolve quality issues, including root cause identification and corrective action planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing and inspection results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product release readiness.
  • Implement and manage changes to existing processes and procedures, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Monitor and analyze Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Familiarity with IATF16949/ISO9001 quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, 5Why, and other quality tools.
  • Knowledge of VDA6.3 and VDA6.5 audit tools.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in automotive manufacturing or assembly process quality engineering, with a focus on cable and connector products preferred.
  • Experience with secondary and tertiary measurement systems, as well as knowledge of plating, machining, and electroplating processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to read, write, and speak fluently.
