Position Overview:

At TE Connectivity, you will harness your expertise to collaborate with a diverse team dedicated to building a safer, sustainable, and interconnected world.

Job Summary:
Responsible for the design and maintenance of tooling, fixtures, and equipment, supporting the MPDE team during the pilot runs of new products to meet production demands while ensuring machine stability in accordance with engineering policies, procedures, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Equipment Design and Commissioning: Collaborate with equipment suppliers to design, install, and debug automation lines, monitor progress, and promptly address issues to ensure project timelines are met.
2. Technical Support: Provide essential technical assistance during pilot runs and production start-ups/changeovers to ensure smooth operation of automation lines.
3. Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve mechanical failures during production to maintain operational efficiency.
4. Effective Communication: Foster strong relationships across departments to ensure timely resolution of issues.
5. Training and Guidance: Mentor technicians and participate in the maintenance and changeover of automation lines to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics; exceptional candidates may be considered without a degree.
2. A minimum of five years of experience in non-standard equipment design or debugging, with expertise in fixture and jig design.
3. Proficient in vision inspection systems (e.g., Keyence/Cognex), PLCs, pneumatic components, sensors, motors, and other motion control devices.
4. Knowledge of robotic systems and maintenance experience is advantageous, along with a basic understanding of electrical performance.
5. Proficient in software such as Pro-E, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, UG, Inventor, or CREO for creating 2D and 3D designs.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
7. Proficient in English, capable of reading and understanding technical documentation.
