Clinical Product Solutions Director

OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Clinical Product Solutions Director. This role will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to address high unmet needs in the clinical LC-MS diagnostics market. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Waters' clinical products and will be able to lead cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success.
Responsibilities- Act as a product and business owner for LC-MS/MS instrument solutions specific for clinical diagnostics and therapeutic areas.
- Be responsible for the VoC and competitive benchmark efforts to identify unmet need and develop value proposition of new product solutions for key therapeutic areas of responsibility.
- Lead the development of business cases for new product solutions or product enhancements.
- Develop comprehensive target product profiles through both qualitative and quantitative market and customer requirement assessments.
- Lead VOC SME (Subject Matter Experts) customer relationship management and continuous customer feedback activities throughout the entire product development gate and phase process to ensure closed loop feedback between customers and new product/solution implementation.
- Partner with the Clinical, Regulatory, and Quality departments for successful clinical studies, regulatory submissions, and clearance to enable the launch of new solutions to the market.
- Define and implement the New Product Launch strategies. Partner with field marketing, sales, and service management teams to establish and implement commercial launch plans to maximize sales impact in the first 2 years.
- Partner closely with Global Marketing, R&D, and Commercial teams on content generation to fulfill marketing strategy campaigns.
- Minimum BSc in a Scientific field or equivalent.
- MBA is highly desirable.
- Fluent in simplified Chinese (written and verbal).
- Experience in LC/MS product management is required.
- IVD experience is desirable.
- Experience in a product management, business development, sales, or other customer-facing role in clinical diagnostic markets is highly desired.
- Experience with developing 'Go-to-Market' product strategies.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- LC/MS and IVD/Medical Device Project Management.
- Continuous Process Improvement.
- Deep understanding of Waters' clinical products.
