Overview

This role is designed to enhance the overall candidate and employee experience within our APAC offices. As a Human Resources Specialist and Talent Acquisition Partner, you will collaborate closely with the HR Director, focusing on key areas such as onboarding, performance evaluation, employee growth, and off-boarding processes. Your recruitment duties will encompass attending local hiring events, sourcing candidates for designated roles, job postings, conducting interviews, and preparing job offers.

Your ability to build strong relationships will be crucial as you act as a mediator for team members seeking support in their interactions. As a culture advocate, you will strive to align HR initiatives with our core values. You are driven by a passion for championing employees and facilitating change. By proactively communicating needs with our HR team and business units, you will work towards developing integrated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a comprehensive understanding of iRobot's operations. Provide support in various areas, including career development, performance management, coaching, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training, and recognition. Collaborate with HR Business Partners to enhance, update, and maintain HR tools and processes. Conduct exit interviews to gather valuable feedback. Assist in executing strategic initiatives and projects within the department while ensuring consistent communication and administration of HR processes. Efficiently conduct and coordinate phone, video, and in-person interviews for candidates. Utilize and maintain Workday, our HR information system. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all communications, both internally and externally.

Additional Responsibilities:

Ensure consistent communication and administration of HR processes across all business scenarios. Support employee development training initiatives. Contribute to strategic projects within the department. Experience in establishing an HR presence in new or remote offices is advantageous. Ability to work independently while collaborating with employees across various teams. Foster strong partnerships with HR teams (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning, etc.) to support overall people objectives. Exhibit genuine curiosity and a strong desire for continuous learning and development. Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure compliance with employment records. Possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Hold a BA/BS degree with 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience in a dynamic environment. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization. Proven ability to partner with HR teams (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning, etc.) to drive support for overall people goals. Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and develop others. Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of local labor and immigration laws. Experience with HRIS and related enterprise software (Workday preferred). Familiarity with HR agency coordination, including work permit applications and benefits administration. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including data interpretation skills. Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (both written and verbal) is required. Willingness to travel and work across different time zones as needed.
