Compliance Investigator - Asia

Job Description

As a Compliance Investigator in the Group Legal Compliance team, you will participate in and lead complex investigations in Asia. Your role will involve interacting with senior management to address sensitive matters and trends, enabling management to consider appropriate actions.

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and driving multiple complex compliance investigations in Asia.

• Writing clear and concise English reports for investigation findings and reporting outcomes to local and global senior management.

• Documenting findings and conclusions in line with prescribed tools and methods.

• Interacting and engaging with senior stakeholders in the Area while successfully driving sensitive processes.

• Identifying risk trends in your area and translating them into learnings and solutions, sharing best practices and facilitating the risk owner and business manager to take decisions on remediation plans.

You're the Right Fit If

You have:

• A minimum bachelor's degree in law or equivalent, accounting, finance, or economics.

• At least 8 years of experience in a similar position, with evidence gathering and investigative techniques.

• Knowledge of the legal system and understanding the language of the legal community.

• Understanding of business information and financial reporting systems, accounting and auditing standards and procedures.

• Proven experience of effective managing multiple complex tasks and senior stakeholders.

• Proven experience of excellent interviewing and report writing skills in English.

• Excellent communication and influencing skills, consistent and balanced behavior, and lead by example.

• Experienced with data analytics in Excel and Forensic tools.

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and with team spirit.
