Job Summary


This role involves providing exceptional front desk services, ensuring seamless guest experiences, and maintaining efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities include:



  • Assist staff in resolving payment issues and follow up with guests on satisfaction surveys.
  • Process guest check-ins, confirm reservations, assign rooms, and issue room keys.
  • Manage various payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
  • Establish accurate guest accounts upon check-in and anticipate sold-out situations.
  • Block rooms, identify requirements, and coordinate with departments to resolve guest calls or requests.
  • Document important information in logbooks and balance receipts according to Accounting specifications.

Leadership Responsibilities


In this role, you will assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. You will serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.


Requirements


To be successful in this position, you should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong problem-solving abilities. Additionally, you should be familiar with safety procedures, complete safety training, and certifications.

Compensation and Benefits


The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Marriott International offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
