Executive Pastry Chef

About the Role
The successful candidate will assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing the kitchen operation as a successful independent profit center, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Kitchen operation and administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing the kitchen operation to meet Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards.
- Plan, organize, direct, and control the Kitchen operation and administration to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to develop and implement kitchen strategies to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing kitchen team through effective leadership, coaching, and development.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years work experience as Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards.
- Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be an advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
- Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System is preferred.
