Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Energy Project Consultant to join our team at Black & Veatch. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on utility projects, such as power, oil and gas, data infrastructure, and water sectors.

The successful candidate will bring together combined expertise in advanced analytics and practical business experience with extensive organizational, technology, and engineering capabilities. Throughout the world, we deliver solutions that work best for program needs, organizations, assets, and customers.

Our professionals improve organizational effectiveness and reduce risks and costs by enabling clients to adopt and operationalize new technologies and approaches. We help justify and fund major improvements to utility networks and assets. We help achieve a clear, systematic approach to managing risks. And worldwide, we work with executive leadership teams to identify and design business-case solutions to some of the world's most transformational initiatives solving energy, water, decarbonization, and other finite resource challenges.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conducts design and technology review for renewable projects including wind and preferably solar.
  • Reviews operations data of renewable power.
  • Compiles data from design documents, contracts.
  • Data analysis and crunching.
  • Draft inputs to technical due diligence, construction, and operation monitoring report.
  • Presents data in meaningful formats to be used by project teams.
Key Qualifications
  • Experience in wind power design and preferably solar power design.
  • Familiarity with wind turbine technology.
  • Graduation in electrical engineering or other relevant disciplines may be considered for the right candidate.
  • Understanding of basic concepts in power and infrastructure projects.
  • Fully comfortable with Microsoft Office suite and especially Microsoft Excel, exposure to other database management tools would be a plus.
Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

Normal office environment.
