Job Overview

Vestas, a world leader in wind energy, seeks an experienced Global Procurement Expert to join our team. As a key member of the company's procurement organization, you will play a critical role in driving strategic sourcing and cost optimization initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate global procurement activities, including commodity strategy development and execution, supplier base build-up, and commercial negotiations.
  • Develop and implement cost out initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement of EBIT and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams, fostering collaboration and open communication.
  • Lead business review meetings and develop supplier account plans, driving value creation and sustainable growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in strategic procurement or a related field, with a degree in business or engineering.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience communicating with executives.
  • Fluent English language skills and excellent communication abilities.
Location and Salary

The successful candidate will be based in Beijing/Tianjin, China, and will receive a competitive salary package, estimated at around $120,000 per year, depending on experience. This includes a base salary and additional benefits, reflecting the company's commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.
