China Strategy Director

Pfizer is seeking a highly skilled China Strategy Director to join its China Strategy and Business Development team. This key role will report to the China Strategy Lead and will be responsible for driving Pfizer China's strategy development and transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Pfizer China's overall strategy, including portfolio strategy, business unit strategy, and business model strategy.
- Work closely with senior leaders across Pfizer China and globally to identify and assess external and internal key trends, explore and capture new opportunities, and implement endorsed strategies.
- Manage and execute on major high-priority projects, including opportunity assessment, business valuation, implementation planning, and execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Medical, Finance, and HR, to ensure seamless transition from strategy to execution.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the China pharmaceutical market and its trends, as well as Pfizer's business drivers in China.
- At least 10+ years of functional experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, operations, marketing, business development, or equivalent.
- Pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience required, with in-depth knowledge of the China pharmaceutical market.
- Highly strategic mindset, with ability to connect the dots.
- Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, including solid analytics, ability to tell a compelling story, deck preparation, and matching the bigger picture into detailed strategic plans.
- Superb ability to engage senior leaders and cross-functional colleagues and build alignment to deliver results in a matrix organization.
- Track record of success and impact in business managed or projects delivered.
- People management skill & track records of maintaining high-performing team required.
- Postgraduate or MBA qualification in Strategy, Finance, Marketing or health-related disciplines required.
- Excellent both English and Mandarin Chinese skills required.
