Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Head to lead our Performance Materials business in China. As a key member of our regional leadership team, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Performance Materials APAC and assume responsibility for overseeing overall commercial initiatives and driving outsized growth across Greater China.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for PM China to drive revenue growth, improve market share, and enhance profitability.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with end users to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, resources, and support to achieve their targets.
  • Implement and track metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.
  • Lead and influence key stakeholders to align sales strategies and collaborate effectively to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA is advantageous.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of sales and management experience in the B2B industry within matrixed and sizable organizations, preferably in industries such as automotive or electronics.
  • Proven success in sales and business development resulting in top-line growth, particularly in specialty business sectors.
  • Results-driven with a focus on swift execution of objectives.
  • Proficient in a matrix organization with excellent communication and influencing skills, both verbal and written English proficiency.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to champion and challenge fast response solution development.
  • Excellent organizational & people management skills, with the passion to build collaborative and high-performing teams.
  • P&L experience is advantageous.
  • Above all, demonstrate a high level of integrity and ethics.
