Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Compliance Lead to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the region.

About the Role

The Regional Compliance Lead will be based in Beijing/Shenyang and will report directly to the Central Compliance Function. The successful candidate will have strong legal background and at least 8-10 years of experience in compliance or related field.

You will work closely with the regional sales team and enable functions to ensure effective and efficient compliance programs and measures are in place. This includes conducting regular monitoring and investigation follow-ups, as well as providing daily compliance consultation to the regions.

Responsibilities
  • Sitting in management team, joining key decision making of region
  • Overall enhance manager's compliance responsibility, to ensure managers conduct compliance R&R in a capable and effective way
  • Landing central compliance strategy and program, including training and communication (tone form top, employee lifecycle, training records) and other follow-up works
  • Daily consultation, provide timely and accurate compliance guidance to regions based on RDPAC, global and local compliance policies
  • Pre-approve regional key activities, based on compliance requirement
  • Closed partnership to ensure good compliance culture, with prompt action and correction to unethical behavior, wording, and actions
Requirements
  • Bachelor or above required, legal or related background, legal professional certifications required;
  • Strong integrity level; stick to principle under pressure;
  • Strong risk sense, risk management skill, focus on detail and strong learning ability;
  • Passionate and willing to take challenge;
  • Strong documentation skill both in Chinese and English;
  • Communication/Coordination/Stakeholder Management;
  • Willing to travel (20%);

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is ¥500,000 - ¥700,000 (approximately $73,000-$103,000 USD), depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
