Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer to join our ASML eBeam business unit. The successful candidate will provide onsite product application support to customer yield engineering, metrology, and Litho teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong technical relationships with direct customer interfaces.
  • Manage product engagement with regular customer review meetings and bring critical customer requirements to the Account Team and RPM (Regional Product Marketing).
  • Provide onsite product training and knowledge transfer to customers.
  • Conduct front-line support at customer sites with face-to-face interface, email, and phone communications.
  • Characterize issues reported and drive timely solutions feedback to customers.
  • Drive and monitor ASML eBeam product and solution engagements at customer sites.
  • Project ownership: provide necessary input to RPM project leaders to define technical specs and timelines with customers.
  • Bring technical requirements or technical issues to RPM and Account teams, connecting the impact to business.
  • Weekly reporting and tracking of customer engagement status, with on-time reporting and escalation to AT (Account Team) and RPM upon business-critical information or issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences, Optics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Mathematics.
  • Solid knowledge of inspection and metrology tool usage, with customer M&I working experience preferred.
  • Strong logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with scripting skills in Python or MATLAB a plus.
  • Strong communication, planning, organization, cross-sector collaboration, and people/project leadership skills, with sensitivity to dynamics at customer sites.
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills.
Organization:

Work within the ASML eBeam business unit Sales and Business Development organization, reporting to the China Field Applications Manager of the eBeam business unit.
