Your Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Key Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving and cooperating with global key accounts to acquire new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and cooperate with global key accounts to acquire new business, including obtaining RFQs from customers with all commercial and technical documents and leading the quotation preparation according to procedure.
  • Process commercial negotiations to obtain new order business, including obtaining competitors' status with compliance range if necessary.
  • Win/Lost analysis after each acquisition and contract management for each order business, including contract management with OEM-designated Tier for order business.
  • Coordinate and support the launching of new order projects' milestones before SOP and obtain tooling reimbursement or D&D cost after project SOP.
  • Internally coordinate all related departments for any technical engineer change after SOP and negotiate with customers for optimized project KPI on any technical engineer change.
  • Maintain well customer relationships and daily routines of each order project, be the first window facing customer complaints on any projects, and coordinate internal resources to give quick and proper feedback to customers.
  • Continuously follow up on open billing, AR overdue, GE-FIT, SEK, DSO improvement, etc.
  • Maintain projected related system tools internally (e.g., Salesforce, PMT, P2R-workflow, Laender, etc.).
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and strategic plan, including sales planning, QS planning, SEK planning, etc.
  • Process annual price negotiations with OEMs.
  • Support market research and marketing communication activities by providing market and competition information.
  • Ensure all activities are in accordance with the Chinese and global strategy of HELLA.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in the auto industry, with international OEM experience needed, VW experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with normal standards and processes of global organizations, with German auto-industry working experience preferred.
  • Fluent English in both written and oral communication.
  • Task/result-oriented, cooperative, and good at communication.
