Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a growth strategy that drives financial gain and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis

Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.

Business Development

Develop and implement a business development strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.

Client Relationships

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive business growth.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with the sales team to provide training and support on product USPs and latest applications/technologies.

Competitive Intelligence

Collect, analyze, and share key findings of competitive information with the sales team.

Customer Support

Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Travel and Meetings

Away travel between 30% to 40% to attend business meetings and conferences.

Opportunity Pipeline

Develop a robust opportunity pipeline for future business growth.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience

Preferably a pharma graduate with a minimum of 15 years of successful technical selling experience in pharma excipients.

Industry Network

Already established with a network of industry contacts.

Communication Skills

Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Prospecting and Networking

The ability to prospect and network at accounts to establish new growth opportunities.

Relational Skills

The ability to relate to all levels in an organization.

Key Account Management

Experience in Key Account Management.
