BE Equipment and Spare Part Strategic Sourcing Manager

What you will do

Commodity Management

• Drive/Own all EPS sourced from China on behalf of all BE Sites

• Drive, direct and lead the sourcing and strategy development in order to achieve a competitive cost structure for the Back End Sites in Asia, located in Philippines, Malaysia and China

• Provide input into the stakeholder scope of requirements while offering commercial suggestions for value creation and maintaining a competitive environment

• Perform market research to obtain market knowledge and experience to develop negotiation strategies (especially in the China region)

• Analysis of spend categories and market conditions for the appropriate application of sourcing strategies

• Perform benchmarking, TCO analysis and supplier risk assessment prior to supplier awarding of a purchase/project

• Support the Dongguan factory EPS Procurement team on a case-by-case basis, as there might be some overlapping sourcing activity

Cost Management

• Lead commercial negotiations involving cross-functional international team members 

• Establish and negotiate plans for high-value international projects

• Develop and lead global sourcing projects, including scope of work creation, negotiation planning, and driving results which meet organisational goals

Supplier and Supply Management 

• Manage/Qualify Supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, technology and service, in order to achieve best-in-class supply base

• Maintain a close relationship with the supplier's key account manager to ensure proper deployment of Nexperia's requirements at the supplier and be the focal point for any escalations towards the supplier

• Accountable for regular performance SRS (supplier rating scorecard) & business reviews with suppliers

​Process Management 

• Drive the implementation of program tools in order to achieve Procurement operations excellence

Contract Management

• Manage and negotiate supplier contracts in order to have the best terms and conditions for Nexperia

Stakeholder Management

• Manage the relationship between key account managers of suppliers and internal stakeholders who are the end users.

• Mediate situations and act as a window of communication between both parties, especially when issues arise

What you will need

• Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain/Business Management or professional procurement certifications

• At least 10 years in the Equipment Sourcing field, understanding Semiconductor Equipment and spare parts demographics

• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin

• Excellent negotiation & analytical skills

• Strong Project Management and Leadership Skills

• Excellent stakeholder management skills

• Able to travel domestically and internationally as and when required

• Understand the Subcon market and the equipment used

• Excellent analytical skills, very familiar with Excel and PowerPoint
