Turkey / Italy / China / India / Brasil / Uzbekistan Role Description As a Mechanical Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to work on a cross-functional engineering team that develops technologies and innovative product solutions for the Automotive Cockpit Electronics Sector. We seek a talented and experienced Automotive Cockpit Electronics Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating mechanical systems for cockpit electronics, ensuring high standards of quality, functionality, and user satisfaction. Projects may include developing parts of externally OEM-funded or internally funded research and development programs. For all assigned projects, the Mechanical Engineer works closely with R&D Engineering disciplines, especially with the Mechanical and hardware Engineering team of Tier 2 suppliers and the Project Management and Business Development departments. Role Responsibilities

• Defines and manages the mechanical scope of a development project to ensure continued alignment with the contract
• Responsible for monitoring design activities on the mechanical level at the concept or development phases
• Work with Tier 2 supplier companies, monitor their activities, visit on a regular basis
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, software developers, and industrial designers to ensure seamless integration of electronic components into vehicle interiors.
• Monitor Tier 2's detailed engineering analysis, including thermal management, vibration, and structural integrity assessments.
• Review Tier 2's prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical designs, ensuring compliance with performance and safety standards.
• Clarify mechanical requirements and convey technical decisions and proposals to the customer and vice versa
• Defining alternative mechanical solutions and trade-off analysis for optimum architecture
• Support technical and/or critical mechanical design reviews of the development lifecycle
• Manage and support change/problem management (change and problem analysis)
• Support through the entire product life cycle, from development to production launch of the product
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to cockpit electronics, providing effective solutions to maintain project timelines.
• Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including CAD models, technical drawings, design specifications, and test reports.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in automotive electronics and mechanical engineering.
• Ensure all design and development activities adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Role Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the automotive industry, preferably on cockpit electronics.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of automotive cockpit electronics mechanical aspects, including displays, control units, and infotainment systems.
• Experience with thermal management, vibration analysis, and structural integrity assessments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to automotive engineering and electronics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in automotive electronics.
• Familiarity with software tools for thermal and structural analysis is nice to have (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
• Technical level speaking and writing proficiency in English and Chinese.
