The HR Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders in China and Hong Kong, aligning human resources strategies with organizational goals and supporting business growth. Stationed in Shenzhen, you will deliver end-to-end HR services and serve as a bridge between management and employees to ensure high standards of people management and compliance across both regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to drive and implement HR strategies that support business objectives in China and Hong Kong.
  • Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee development initiatives to support operational needs.
  • Advise on employee relations matters, performance management, organizational changes, and engagement activities.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with evolving labor regulations and company standards in both regions.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement in employee performance and retention.
  • Manage compensation, payroll, and benefits administration, working closely with local HR teams.
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and policy enforcement.
  • Support change management efforts and organizational integration in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in multinational organizations.
  • Familiarity with employment legislation in mainland China and Hong Kong.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required, with Cantonese an advantage
