Job Description

  • Support Head of Commercial Banking in Hong Kong to develop, manage and grow Credit Analyst team
  • Lead a team to source, structure and execute credit facilities (including project, property, equity bridge facilities) for target clients
  • Work closely with other product partners (including DCM, ECM, GM, TB) to identify, cross-sell and increase the wallet share from target clients
  • Develop deep local knowledge of the property markets, its legal framework, valuation methodologies and financing structures
  • Work closely with the Product Partners, Credit, Compliance, Operations and Head Office to ensure seamless origination and delivery of solutions to clients
  • Ensure compliance with the bank's policy & standards and in-country regulatory requirements and laws including AML, KYC and CCD

Job Requirements

  • University graduate or professional with recognized qualifications in banking, finance or related business disciplines
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in Commercial Banking with credit analysis experience in corporate banking sector, i.e. mid-cap
  • Strong knowledge of credit products and credit analytical skills and strong at analytical/ logical presentations
  • In-depth knowledge of the property market and well-versed with wholesale banking products and knowledge including loans, capital markets, treasury and financial instruments
  • Good understanding of risk management, credit risk analysis, debt structuring and legal documentation
  • Matured, passionate and exhibits strong business aptitude
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Holder of ECF on Credit Risk Management (CRM) accredited by The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) is preferred
