Your Key Responsibilities

• To setup target costs for manufacturing/production/all the major component/commodity of purchased parts from in-house and supplier and providing analysis

and reports, including not only material cost, but also equipment, tooling, labor, cycle times, process and CAPEX etc by VA/VE methodology.

• To apply and develop different approach/Tools to launch cost analysis within different situation, components and process in VA/VE projects;
• To build cost database to support business growth for new programs and cost reduction of production parts through VA/VE activities;
• To lead cross-function team to target costing process, to continuously reduce cost of similar parts, category of sub-commodity;
• To work and develop core competency with cross-functional team including engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, supplier development and quality through

adopting the should-cost by VAVE, Benchmarking tools and so on;

• To support Sales/KAM and Design Team in quotation to provide cost targets for the Bill of Material.
• To work with product development by developing Design to Cost as a core competence.
• To support purchasing to strengthen the negotiation by providing VA/VE proposals.
• To support cross functional commodity team in driving cost reductions, via supplier visits and audits, cost breakdowns and supplier development.

Your Qualifications

• Build and maintain effective working relationships across functions and organizations
• Innovative thinker - quickly adapt to changing situations and high-level summary ability
• Solid experience in analyzing components cost, costing trends, engineering processes, and product development processes.
• Strong in optimizing total cost management through working with cost drivers, multiple data sources, cost models and quality and quality improvement

knowledge.

• Collaborating between suppliers and internal product functions to drive best cost and quality.
• Preferably extend with 5+ years in engineering and manufacturing, such as stamping, casting, machining, electrical;
• Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages
