Staff Field Applications Engineer
About The Role
As a Staff Field Applications Engineer at ADI, you will provide strategic technical leadership and expertise to support our most critical customers in designing and implementing complex ADI solutions. You'll serve as a distinguished technical authority bridging ADI technology with customer needs, leading pre-sales and implementation activities for strategic accounts. This role requires exceptional technical depth, system-level understanding, and leadership capabilities as you'll guide development teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to product strategy based on deep customer insights and market trends.

Responsibilities:

• Provide software support to Strategic and Key Automotive customers, Focus on Automotive Infotainment, ADAS and EE architecture application.
• Understand and disseminate customers' system needs; develop the application circuit and firmware code for ADI GMSL, Audio and E2B products
• Work with local FAE and product Applications Engineer on software debug and solve customers' problems.
• Support key customers projects with system knowledge, lead automotive EE architecture, software and algorithm discussions to design in ADI products
• Support customers' side workshop and training.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• MSEE in EE or related majors.
• More than 4-year experience in Automotive software development. FUSA related background or qualification are preferred. Familiar with ISO26262/IEC61508 and AUTOSAR standard.
• Automotive EE architecture and system level knowledge, ADI GMSL, DSP or Automotive SOC related background is preferred.
• C/C++ /Python/MATLAB language knowledge is required, familiar with RTOS.
• Excellent hands-on experience in firmware and software design capability. Strong problem-solving and technical skills
• Previous experience providing customer-facing technical support; Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task many projects and set priorities
• Strong written/verbal communication skills and the ability to build/drive relationships are required, work as a team player.
• Fluency in spoken and written English, Strong presentation skill in both English and Chinese
