• Conduct on-site product quality audits at suppliers' factories to ensure product compliance with company and industry standards.
• Definition of technical specifications for suppliers and documentation of the functional test for Group Quality.
• Participate in product evaluation, testing, and failure analysis.
• Technical and quality support of the products according to Vaillant Group processes.
• Development of product specification to ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled.
• Collaborate with European Headquarter to support launch of new products and product life cycle, relay technical feedback and improvement needs
• Answer technical questions in cooperation with supplier
• Work on product improvements and adaptation to customer demands within Vaillant Group standards.
• Responsible for communication with supplier for technical details and operational topics
• Accomplishment of Vaillant Group regulations and directives (such as Corporate Governance Handbook or the Code of Conduct) in the current version.

What makes us successful together

• Required qualification: Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related technical field. Vocational training.
• Technical knowledge:HVAC Systems (especially air conditioning and fancoils)/Cooling and control parts/Electrical complex components/Components of HVAC systems
• Processes knowledge:Familiarity with quality control procedures, auditing tools, and root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)./Shipping audits/FMEA/Product specification
• Specific knowledge required:Fluent in English (spoken and written)/Fluent in Chinese (spoken and written)/Operating System and MS Office
• Experience:Minimum 3 years as an engineer (preferably in HVAC sector)/Experience working in cross-functional international teams, ideally with European companies or customers
• Competencies:Communication skills/Analytical and problem-solving capability/Proactivity and decision making/Capability of bridging technical and cultural gaps between European HQ and local suppliers
