Your Focus
As Greater China Regional Director for Health & Biosciences (H&B), you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving exceptional profitable growth in the region. The role will see your active involvement in leading sales teams, developing industry strategies and managing key customer relationships. You will also be expected to be the H&B lead representative with government bodies and industry associations.
You will drive prioritization as well as lead business development across various product portfolio, including evaluating existing products and new product potential, to ensure continued competitiveness. H&B business is highly customer centric and will require you to be equipped with deep understanding of customer processes in innovation, manufacturing and marketing.
The role will see you own the P&L and deliver business goals while encouraging a work culture of excellence, prioritizing growth and development.

How you will lead
1. Sales Team Leadership
• Lead and inspire the sales teams across Greater China for the five respective H&B segments:
o Health
o Home and Personal Care (HPC)
o Animal Nutrition Health (ANH)
o Cultures and Food Enzymes (CFE)
o Grain Processing (GP)
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the teams.
2. Industry Strategy Development
• Collaborate with segment leaders (Health, HPC, ANH, CFE & GP) to develop and manage regional industry strategies.
• Identify growth opportunities, market trends and competitive landscapes.
• Ensure alignment with global H&B strategies.
3. Key Account Strategies
• Develop and implement effective account strategies for major customers.
• Maintain high level commercial relationships with key stakeholders.
• Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to drive growth.
4. Government and Industry Representation
• Act as the face of H&B in interactions with government bodies and industry associations.
• Advocate for H&B’s interests and contribute to shaping industry policies.
• Build strong networks and partnerships.
5. Profitable Growth
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share in the Greater China region.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Job Requirements
What you will need to be successful
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing or any other relevant discipline from a reputable institute will be essential. Advanced degree, MBA, MSc, or equivalent preferred. Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in Commercial Sales or Business Development role. Proven track record within the Specialty Chemicals, Biosciences or related industries is a MUST. International mindset with strong understanding of the Greater China market dynamics. Organizational leader with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage at all levels, capable in developing exceptional commercial relationships. Strategic vision, innovative thinking, business acumen with ability to drive and rally cross functional regional teams is a Must. Excellent presentation, storytelling and negotiation skills. Analytical mindset and ability to connect the dots. Easily seize the opportunities and possibilities that have a big impact on deals. Ability to think beyond and look forward to strategic impact of decisions. Positivity, flexibility, resilience with agile thinking. Strong with Financial forecast and reporting. Ability to network and influence throughout functional organization to deliver results. Excellent business acumen, capability to translate opportunities into solid business cases. Demonstrated ability to work in matrix environment with different business leaders and cross functional teams. Willingness to travel.What we offer
