About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Innovation Director to lead our Consumer Health innovation strategy in China. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative solutions that meet the needs of our consumers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with commercial teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of consumer needs and preferences.
  • Develop and execute innovation strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Manage project pipelines to deliver meaningful consumer health benefits and grounded in science and medical unmet needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership to the initiation, scoping, and feasibility development of new products.
  • Ensure strong connections with suppliers and universities to identify new technologies aligned with business needs.
  • Liaise with External Innovation and Partnerships to understand potential for external innovation and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years (or Master's degree with 10+ years, or PhD with 6+ years) of significant experience in FMCG / Consumer Health.
  • A proven track-record of delivering consumer-inspired, science-based, and new-to-category innovation in the Consumer Health or Consumer Goods Industry from Ideation to launch.
  • Passion for consumer-inspired innovation.
  • Strong scientific and business acumen.
  • VMS Category experience not necessary, but a strong plus.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, particularly in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work with and influence all levels in the organization.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
