Position Summary:

The across franchise Marketing Director will provide short to long-term strategic plan and tactical direction and operational oversight on marketing of Cardiopulmonary and Neuromodulation products in China. He/she will collaborate with senior management team and international marketing team to define objectives, establish strategic plans and assess results.  He/she will lead marketing team continual optimize product pipeline to support further growth and provide a full range of professional and technical promotion for the growth of business in China. He/she will work closely with sales team to develop and refine market segmentation, penetration and growth plans.

Responsibilities

1) Marketing strategy development and branding management:

Develop effective, competitive marketing strategies/marketing plans and translate marketing strategies into day-to-day marketing tactics for sales force promotion execution. Establish product portfolio strategic plans for short term and long term to support company’s strategy, revenue and profit goals and monitors respective expenses throughout the years. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies. Apply different marketing mix and communication tools/platforms to maximize company & brand images in related therapeutic area to build strong branding. Identify, evaluate, manage and execute market promotion programs that will contribute to China CP and NM short and long-term business goals. Establish solid KOLs relationship and strong brand positioning endorsement and leverage KOLs influence to shape the treatment perception. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to forecast demand and identify growth opportunities. Monitor market dynamics, pricing strategies, and regulatory changes impacting segments, providing recommendations to ensure competitive advantage. Determine the profitability and viability of new products or products enhancements. Lead and execute different projects that are strategically important to LivaNova China.

2) Team Leadership:

Develop an effective marketing team that supports company's marketing & sales strategies/objectives (e.g. staffing and coaching etc.) Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the marketing team, encouraging creativity, accountability and compliance. Attract, keep and develop marketing talents and manage team’s turnover.

3) Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with key internal global and local stakeholders, including global marketing, sales, regulatory, market access, sales operation and finance etc. to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and to ensure marketing initiatives be executed aligned. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, agencies, vendors, and key opinion leaders to enhance brand visibility and maximize marketing effectiveness.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and above with major in medicine / science / biotech / bioengineering / business / marketing related discipline, MBA is a plus. Minimum of 15 years of marketing experience and minimum 5 years people manager experience in medical device industry. Fluency in oral and written English is a must. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and market access considerations within the medical device industry. Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve common goals. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence key stakeholders. Ability to balance business objectives and opportunities against legal and other risks and requirements. “Can-do” attitude and customer-service orientation Flexibility, ability to adapt to changing priorities and objectives. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, comfortable working with tight deadlines.
