Procurement Sr. Manager, B&C Procurement Strategy

This is a procurement leadership role in leading procurement strategy and transformation in Be & Cheery in shaping the direct sourcing capability of B&C key portfolio. With a primary focus on Nuts strategic sourcing (60%) and a secondary focus on Meat and Dried fruits (40%), this position is instrumental in ensuring the highest quality and cost-effectiveness of B&C sourcing.
Responsibilities Transform current OEM sourcing into global strategic sourcing of Nuts, Meat and Dried Fruits Lead the strategic sourcing initiatives for nuts, including Almonds, Pistachios, Cashews, Pecans, and Macadamias. Drive sourcing strategies for meat, dried fruits and packaging, including but not limited to Chicken feet, Mango, Prune, giftbox, etc. Maintain strong relationships with global and local suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring optimal quality and timely deliveries. Identify and assess potential new suppliers, ensuring they meet our quality and ethical standards. Conduct market research and analysis to forecast price trends and availability of nuts and dried fruits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with production schedules and product launches. Leadership and Collaboration: Directly report key strategies, challenges, and progress to the Sr Director Supply Chain B&C. Collaborate closely with B&C’s and PEPSICO stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. Mentor and guide junior procurement team (8 x team members), fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks in the sourcing process and devise mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with international and domestic regulations, especially concerning food safety and packaging. Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and manage the annual budget for the category. Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s in Business, Agro, Economics / Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain. Work experience managing globally traded commodities; Must have prior experience as a commodity buyer/trader in a global environment. Nuts & Dried Fruits industry experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of Agro commodities sourcing practices, market dynamics, and supplier landscape. Strong strategic thinking and transformation capability in a complex organization. Excellent negotiation and project management skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in English-
