Responsibilities:

Strategic, operational and technical co-responsibility for the coatings sector (bonded coatings and similar coatings) in Asia Project management (sales projects, special projects) Technical application support for customers: Solving customer-specific problems with the help of existing products and, if necessary, initiating new developments with the help of the creation of specifications and development applications Creation of communication materials for technical marketing, e.g. formulation of product information leaflets, internal information sheets, application information leaflets Creation and maintenance of application overviews / release overviews for customers Market/regional and customer-related competitive analyses and development of decision recommendations and competitive strategies Representing the company at trade fairs and customer events (international and local, e.g. automotive trade fairs, regional meetings)

Qualifications:

Completed studies/training in engineering (ideally in the field of mechanical engineering), paint technician/engineer; chemical engineer/technician or mechanical technician/master craftsman Ideally 2-3 years of practical experience in technical sales or application technology and/or product management experience Knowledge of fasteners and/or paint technology is an advantage Portfolio management (within Asia) Asian technical sales training Entrepreneurial personality, with a professional customer-oriented attitude, who is determined, persistent and confident in negotiations as well as cooperative and persuasive Analytical approach as well as an independent and responsible way of working Willingness to travel within Asia (approx. 40% of working hours) Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Business fluent in written and spoken English
