Amazon Global Selling: The Marketplace or “Selling on Amazon” business exists in 18 countries and exceeds 50% of total Amazon unit sales and growing. Each year, tens of thousands of businesses join the marketplace adding millions of new products. Our vision is to offer customers Earth’s largest selection. China Global Selling aims to deliver on this vision by identifying massive China Sellers, bring their product selection to Amazon’s global marketplaces. The role we’re hiring is Site Lead for CN Global Selling New Region (Nanjing). This new region Site Leader will identify local business opportunity and make suggestions on tailor made local strategy, build up and lead local team to grow regional cross-border ecosystem, work across internal functional teams and collaborate with external stakeholders e.g. government/associations/service providers to increase AGS local awareness and penetration, provide better local service to Sellers and help drive their business growth to Amazon all marketplaces.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding business acumen, both business development and talents development; bring rich industry experience, with a relentless focus on the customer, and equipped with long term vision and strategic thinking for the new region expansion and growth. In this role, you will be responsible for building, developing, and leading multi-function collaboration model in local; own regional business performance end to end via making suggestions on strategy and action plans, leading teams and multi stakeholders to achieve business results; as well as work with local partners to build up local cross boarder e-commerce ecosystem. Responsibilities: · Make suggestions on regional strategy, goal setting and key action plans based on regional insights and knowledge. · Lead local cross functions and engage central teams to drive actions for deliver business goals. · Build Review Mechanism, lead regional business review, and dive deep for action plans. · Local organization development incl. hiring, developing, set up capability building mechanisms. · Build the local ecosystem including service provider network, Government Engagement and increase market awareness. · Collect seller voice and summarize regional insights to central team and work together to improve Seller experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- 7+ years of sales, inside sales, or business development experience
- Experience building and hiring a sales team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience developing efficient and scalable sales operations processes
- Experience defining sales tech requirements for a CRM such as Salesforce
