Responsibilities

Job Summary / Job Purpose

Responsible for providing assistance in marketing, middle office and customer support for Cash Clearing and Trade Finance to a portfolio of Financial Institutions in China, focusing on Cash Clearing (GTPS/BAN).

Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities / Tasks

Assist Head of Department and Cash Clearing Relationship Manager in client maintenance and support, especially on the following tasks:

Assist in new client on-boarding KYC and existing clients’ KYC review process, including the preparation of Business Review template, communication with the client during the outreach process, and with internal teams such as KYC, business line MO and group compliance to get the KYC and KYC review approval. Assist the Relationship Manager in day-to-day client services: as the first level of customer support, handle customers’ inquiries to help them solve any operation problems and making sure every inquiry will be taken care on that same day or the earliest possible in order to satisfy the customers, including responding client inquiries on payment, downloading monthly statement, providing the necessary information regarding STP formatting, fees, interests, etc. Prepare regular and ad hoc business statistics on volume, deposit, revenue, etc. and client meeting memos when required Assist Trade Finance Relationship Manager in business reporting. Assist in preparation and operation of client seminars. Prepare the department’s permanent control, business impact analysis, travel and expense and other administrative tasks. Other jobs assigned by Head of Department.

Profile required

Academic Background (degree and major)

Bachelor or above, major in Finance, Commerce, Business Management or foreign language is preferred. Other major may also acceptable.

Working Experience /Technical Skills & Know how

Min. 2 years of banking experience in commercial banking with middle/back-office role, preferably in cash clearing, trade services or other transaction banking area

Skills & Competencies

Reliable, competent and service oriented team worker experienced Good level of interpersonal skills Achieve high level of customer satisfaction

Language Skills

Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English, French is a plus.

Computer Skill

Skilled in Windows Office applications (WORD, EXCEL, Powerpoint, etc.)
