About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our Institutional Cash and Trade team in Beijing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for originating, arranging, and facilitating transactions of letters of credit and trade-related guarantees from institutional clients in China.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an ACO (Accountable Client Owner) covering a portfolio of institutional clients in China, working closely with the Sales Lead and Customer Service Team.
- Originate, arrange, and facilitate transactions of letters of credit and trade-related guarantees from institutional clients in China.
- Ensure that Deutsche Bank's Know-Your-Customer (KYC) requirements on these clients and for our particular business are fulfilled and documented.
- Sell the entire range of Cash Management (ICM) and Trade Finance (TF) products to Financial Institutions (FIs) located in Beijing, China.
- Deliver on agreed Sales objectives for the client portfolio and uphold best-in-class client management and service levels to the existing client base.
Requirements
- Several years of correspondent banking industry experience, including employment in a major European or US financial institution.
- Solid product knowledge of cash management services and trade finance products for financial institutions.
- Ability to communicate bank's strategy and the ICT global business strategy, including the ICT risk appetite and respective policies.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and develop contacts at the appropriate level in target clients to support business attraction.
