Position Overview & Job Tasks

As Internal Sales Specialist / Project Engineer Pre-Sales, … You are the central point of contact and advise our domestic & international sales partners as well as our existing & new customers on suitable solutions for materials testing systems building the commercial & technical bridge between our internal & external world. You will be responsible for the project management in the pre-sales phase, starting from the preparation of the offer to the final customer acceptance. In close cooperation with our application & development team as well as order processing & logistics team, you will develop your projects on a customer-specific basis towards their expectations. In your project follow-up, you will be supported by an interdisciplinary team of specialists. With your expertise, you will further coach and onboard our sales & service partners on new products & services based on comprehensive sales & marketing tools & documents. You contribute that we remain innovative and continue to grow, you provide valuable impulses
and feedback to our marketing department as well as product and industry management. You establish & maintain close networks & coordination with our sales organization & partners
in China as well as internationally. You support & challenge our sales counterparts in finding and qualifying leads, active opportunity management by utilizing our international CRM system as well as Sales Tools & Strategies, helping to win orders, assuring the needs & expectations of the customers are professionally met. Based on the customer testing requirements for different materials, parts and components, you discuss, provide quotations with adequate specifications and negotiate in a joint approach with your sales partners, assuring reliable test results for our customers. Organize regular meetings and training with our sales partners by offering and utilizing the state-of-the-art infrastructure of ZwickRoell in Taicang as well as our global ZwickRoell locations and network.

Requirements

Bachelor or Master Degree in commercial and/or technical faculties Minimum 5 years of experience in pre-sales / technical / application support in international plastics/petrochemical, composite, automotive, medical industries or from testing services or laboratories. Good communication skills, strong team spirit, self-driven Good English in written & oral (CET6/ BEC Vantage level) Proficient in Microsoft Office (PPT, EXCEL, Word) and using CRM/ERP system Domestic and international travel (20%)
