Who are we looking for?We now have an opportunity for Regional Marketing Manager to join our SAS team.
The Regional Marketing Manager is a key member of business leadership and is responsible for working with global Business Unit partners and Regional Commercial leaders to identify, plan and execute BU growth strategies in the assigned region.
What will you be doing?•As a member of the regional leadership team, work with the global product management & regional commercial teams to drive the development and execution of the strategy in support of the delivery of financial and share gain targets.
•To be the primary liaison between the regional commercial leadership team / strategic account management and BU LoB leaders and their global product management teams to ensure that customers have the products they need and our personnel have the necessary selling skills and tools to sell and support the commercial strategies.
•Be a key member in the creation, execution and monitoring of regional initiatives to achieve defined objectives including setting of KPI’s, defining analytics and prioritization of those initiatives linked to BTSO’s and other core business strategies.
•Undertake business and market analysis to understand the dynamics affecting the region and support quarterly forecasting report outs.
•Execute the global strategic plan with specified regional tactics, able to bridge multiple functions to simplify the process and get things done.
•Work with the Marketing Communications partners to develop and deploy an annual communications plan.
•Using the Atlas CRM system, monitor key regional opportunities and look for ways to accelerate advancements leveraging company resources (Leadership, Prod Mgt., R&D, etc...)
•Provide day to day support to commercial teams for product related information, technical needs, customer questions and escalation of any issues affecting regional business performance (including R&D Service Requests and Tech Transfers).
•Contribute to the identification of new business development opportunities using market knowledge and input from commercial teams, customers, consortia and others. Recommend investments where appropriate including acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and licensing.
Who are You?Bachelors level degree from an accredited university. Preferably in a material science, chemical science or engineering discipline. MBA is a plus.
Six to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

What competencies will you need?To be successful in this role, you will need to have below skills:
•Must abide by all Company policies/procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations.
•Familiarity with the electronic assembly industry
•5+ years’ product and marketing management experience. Familiar with PCB assembling materials (solders, conformal coatings, potting resin, thermal interface materials, etc.).
•Must be able to travel 30% of working time or more.
•Thorough understanding of the Company’s products and procedures.
•Possess well-developed communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
•Address inquiries and resolve problems by using appropriate resources/other departments to achieve results/answers.
•Present a professional attitude and handle confidential information according to non-disclosure guidelines.
•Ability to work in a high paced and multi-task environment.
•High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
•Ability to speak, read and write English and Chinese.
•Well-organized and detail oriented.
•Ability to interact professionally with internal customers at off-site MacDermid Alpha and divisional locations.
•Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
