What you will do

  • Work in an Agile development team, embracing the Scrum approach.

  • Maintain and improve Commerce components using mainly Java, Spring framework, Git and Maven.

  • Contribute to providing a high-quality code by following the best practices and design patterns.

  • Design and write automated unit, integration and acceptance tests to ensure software quality

  • Actively drive non-functional requirements in such areas as performance, security, continuous integration, migration and compatibility.

  • Collaborate with members of the wider product development team across multiple international locations to ensure delivery on time.

  • Present your innovative ideas to your team and management to actively drive non-functional requirements such as security, performance, continuous integration, migration and compatibility.

 

What you bring

 Required skills

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in quantitative field – preferably Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Practical knowledge in Java and Spring framework programming

  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies, frameworks, etc.

  • Ability to clearly explain technical problems and deeply understand business requirements.

  • Ability and willingness to work as a part of a self-organizing team.

  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of the enterprise e-commerce industry in general.

  • Experience working with or in Scrum, Agile.

  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery. 

  • Experience in defining and fulfilling non-functional requirements (e.g. security, performance).

  • Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes and/or Docker technology.
