Your Role
Achieve results as per objectives agreed with the GM & GAP division.Responsible for all aspects of the design and technical support of Marine compressor. further develop your team members in order to establish a competent and efficiently operated team to become the expert in different knowledge fields of Marine compressor design. develop a design process ensuring a high reliability of the custom designed products with a First Time Right approach.Guide the Marine engineering development process for the different projects. Set up a time frame taking the available resources and priorities into consideration based on the requirement from the market, following up the committed time/cost and quality requirements Believe there is always a better way and encourage your team to develop new innovations and improve the processes continuously.Managing the execution of the project effectively through well defined planning process with the transparent data and process support to guide the operational dept. on the resources forward planning not only on the human resources but also materials., etc.Closely work with the quality & safety dept. to enhance the quality management through the whole process of the Marine engineering design with 0 tolerance on quality and safety. Apply continual improvement process or method in your team to let “there is always better way” be part of our culture.Collaborate closely with sales and applications, supply chain, production, quality and aftermarket service to create a joint direction across the team boundaries to support COF to be a highly efficient operated entity with good brand recognition through well organized project management in China marketSupport the digitalization, align the practice with other entities in China to share the best practices to improve the transparency of the Marine engineering design, as well as the operational efficiency in the engineering design and project management.Develop strong support to “People Care”, i.e. training and competence development of personnel. establish a process in identifying, support and follow-up talented persons with a good potential to grow.
