: Track the market dynamic including policy, regulations, funding, investments etc. to understand the market trend and the linkage/impact with Thermo Fisher business. Analyze and report out market, driven, application trends as well as workflow opportunities in Academic and Industrial end markets. Understand customer needs within verticals, develop go-to-market strategy and action plan by bringing together a cross-functional, cross-portfolio team to drive breakthrough growth. Create ONE Thermo Fisher value propositions and build total solutions to showcase our unique capabilities and resources. Identify and manage strategic collaborations with associations and KOLs to position us as a leading player by focusing on research disciplines, application areas and industrial hotspots. Ensure alignment and communication of marketing plans & actions with division marketing and commercial stakeholders.

Critical Competencies to Drive Business Results:

Portfolio/Solution Effectiveness

Understanding of Thermo Fisher entire portfolio applications in related verticals. Ability to explore the opportunity of Academia discipline expansion to industrial and industrial collaboration with Academic research. Ability to convert product offerings into solutions according to different customer clusters’ needs.

Project Management

Project management, problem solving and analytical skills with an ability to perform exceptionally well in a fast-paced environment. Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Marketing Effectiveness

Understanding of the financial impact and metrics of marketing to improve marketing effectiveness over time.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in analytical chemistry, material science or related disciplines, advanced marketing degree as a plus. 5+ years’ experience in analytical instruments industry, 5+ years’ experience in marketing, product management or business development Shown experience and capabilities in vertical market strategy development. Proven vertical expertise policies, technologies, competitive/industry knowledge, and customer behaviors. Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, interact, and work with individuals and groups.
