AMNC - Government Engagement

The World Economic Forum, committed to improving the state of the world, is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation.

The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

You will work closely with respective teams at the World Economic Forum Beijing Office to support the preparations for the Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC), that is held in June 25-27 in the city of Dalian this year.

Internship Duration

1 April – mid of July; 4-5 days/week onsite at the Forum office in Beijing

Requirements

The Internship role is for candidates currently pursuing a college or university degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) and is usually undertaken during the penultimate year of study. While your major is not important, we are looking for candidates with an outstanding record of academic achievement, a can-do attitude and a desire to make an impact.

Throughout the internship, you will have the unique opportunity to:

The intern will join the office for a three-month period during the spring of 2024. You will work four to five days a week and receive a RMB 7,500 monthly stipend if working on full- time.

Government Engagement

The Government Engagement team manages the Forum’s overall engagement with government and public sector institutions in Greater China region. It facilitates the integration of government constituents into Forum meetings, initiatives and other relevant activities. They will represent the Forum for government constituents and help execute the strategy for deepening the Forum’s value proposition with these constituents.

Your responsibilities:

Translation and preparation of over 80 personalized invitation letters to Chinese local government officials for AMNC24 Answering to questions on general information of AMNC24 and Saudi Summit Data entry and maintenance in the Forum’s salesforce system Role mapping for Chinese public figures, i.e. finding sessions that matches their priorities Document translation (English-Chinese and vice versa) Logistics support to Chinese officials during AMNC24, Walking Davos, local government visits, and local events
