Responsibilities of the role holder

Set the strategic direction of the investment and wealth solutions for clients, especially in the areas of Brokerage, Investment Advisory and Investment Banking referral Provide investment support, education and guidance to external clients, prospects and Investment Counsellors Develop comprehensive investment strategy and asset allocation proposal appropriate to clients, and coordinate execution with appropriate products and services Provide input and support for the development of new business initiatives and product enhancement in the covered areas Manage the life cycle of the onboarded products/services including authorities reporting, product/service training, performance monitoring and communication, risk and compliance issues follow up, etc. Provide regular and timely updates on investment opportunities to clients, prospects and Investment Counsellors Coordinate with relevant departments to complete the policy and procedure write up Other projects or initiatives assigned by line manager Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Master Degree and/or CFA, minimum 7 years’ experience in product related role in financial institutions, and minimum 5 years’ experience in Securities houses  SAC qualifications is pre-requisite, esp Investment Advisory Qualification Good business acumen with understanding of the Securities house’s businesses including Brokerage, Investment Advisory, Investment Banking, Asset Management, Derivatives, etc.  Extensive knowledge of wealth management business (onshore and offshore), and competitive and regulatory environment Highly independent and a good team player Strong analytical skill with strategic thinking ability and good project management skills Client-focused, with strong negotiation, communication and presentation (written and oral) skills Able to work under pressure and solve complex problems Fluent in both English and Chinese writing and speaking
