Job PurposeThis position locates in Shanghai, meanwhile job will cover to all the countries in APAC region.The Senior Business Excellence Specialist is responsible to support and accelerate the success of progress initiatives in commercial and operation process by using Lean and Industrial Engineering tools, methods and approach. And make operational teams autonomous in the long term with regarding to manage their progress by ensuring their acceptance of change.

 

Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesBE/Lean Transformation:
  • The Senior Business Excellence Specialist is a Lean Thinker with expertise in Lean Transformation. Influence the different levels of people toward to the Business Excellence Model.
  • Implement the APAC BE roadmap deployment, manage the Lean capability development program in all APAC countries.
  • Act as role model of Lean culture and behaviors.
  • Independently deliver formal and informal LEAN training and coaching.
  • Maintain and continues improve the BE Community in region.
  • Support Country BE members in lean activity implement, result tracking and sustainment, as well as lean roadmap deployment in responsible area.
  • Facilitate Problem solving workshops and Kaizen projects to improve/optimize all relevant management processes.
  • Work closely with all countries, departments and monitor key global BE projects’ progress so that any deviations or issues could be resolved on-time.
  • Any other tasks that the supervisor may assign from time to time.

 

Requirements neededEducation and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Majoring in Industrial Engineering is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience in Lean or Industrial Engineering.
  • Rich practice of Lean tools like VSM, 5S, VOC, DMAIC, Kaizen, etc
  • Digital mindset and knowledge in emerging digital technologies (e.g. PowerBI, RPA, AI etc.)  is an asset.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Fluent in English.

  • Challenge the AS IS using an internal or external benchmark.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines and prioritize.
  • Travel time in APAC region 15% - 20%.
