We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

·Drive GPB strategies and initiatives that are aligned with HSBC visions for sustained business growth and to execute the strategies with precision to enable the tangible outcomes.

·Lead the resources management, including FTE planning, Graduate program, intern. And control cost management, including FRP, WPB and CMU cost planning.

·Foster a collaborative work culture by driving GPB simplification, empowerment, and people centricity/experience upgrade, organize staff exchanges and engagement activities to improve staff experience.

·Manage and refine policies, procedures, and processes, to in line with internal governance and external requirements as well as ensure efficient operation.

·Establish and implement branches and premise networks for GPB and enhance customer experience in partnership with the Proposition team.

·Execute key events, maintaining alignment with vertical line as well as HBCN Excos to support business performance and growth.

·Cultivate and nurture strong, mutually beneficial relations with customers and stakeholders. Act as a conduit for understanding and addressing their needs to foster long-term good relationships.

·Provide executive level updates to provide accurate, timely progress update and insightful analysis of the business strategies and further action plans if necessary.

·Build strong relationships, adopt a joined up approach, to support business growth

·Analyse stakeholder goals and, effectively manage their expectations, and address any misalignment with minimum.

·Support the Head of GPB in inspiring and motivating staff through organized engagement activities that foster a sense of unity and shared purpose. Recognize and celebrate achievements to boost morale and productivity.

·Oversee governance meetings and reporting with a keen eye for detail, protect and enhance HSBC values, reputation and business, ensure that all processes are aligned with GPB strategic goals and local regulatory requirements. Manage the relationship with the GPB top team to increase risk and control awareness and capability.

·Agree responsibilities within formal and informal network, providing context, direction and confidence to deliver results.

·Demonstrate exceptional leadership and cascade GPB strategy, set clear performance goals to team members.

·Governance, as ownership of the GPB China governance structure and the efficient operating model including governance committees support and coordination, event management and delivery, Exco meeting, townhalls and other staff engagement activities.

·Central point to co-ordinate new joiner onboarding, system access, leaver management, etc.

·Ensure the seamless communication and coordination with GPB China top teams to understand the business performance, key initiatives and support needed, supporting the business revenue growth and implementation.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·Good understanding of the HSBC Group structure and familiar with GPB and WPB businesses.

·Familiar with the changing local regulatory and competitive landscape pertaining to the private wealth management industry in China.

·Sharp business acumen, solid strategic mindset, excellent project management skills, ability to make and influence tactical decisions.

·Excellent organizational and planning skills and keen sense of prioritization

·Experience in operational, change management and control roles.

·A driven, assertive, can-do attitude with passion to succeed that inspires others to the same.

·A focus on delivering to high standards and at pace.

·Strong written and verbal communication skills, both in English and Chinese.

·Strong team players and stakeholder management skills.

·Experience in data visualisation and reporting focusing on identifying trends and insights would be an advantage.
