JOB SUMMARY

Assist Global Design MSB Project leader to oversee project and design activities for Marriot Select Brand including landscape, interior, architectural, and electromechanical design through consultancy and training support to owners and designers. Proficiency in Mandarin/Putonghua language and strong technical translation skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Responsibilities involve regular communication with owners and consultants.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • Background in architecture design preferred
  • Minimum of eight years of professional experience
  • Previous involvement in hotel projects advantageous
  • Native Mandarin speaker with proficient English communication and technical translation skills

Skills and Competencies

  • Must demonstrate maturity
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Proficient in "Microsoft Project"
  • Effective team player
  • Able to perform under pressure

  • Conducts tasks such as analysis, auditing, budgeting, and software integration
  • Addresses standard business requests with limited risk

  • Performs additional duties as required

Specific Expected Contributions

  • Lead assigned projects ensuring project milestones are met, issuing design guidelines, monitoring brand standard compliance, and updating project schedules using Microsoft Project
  • Notifies Senior Management of any project delays
  • Reviews tracking reports with Senior Management regularly
  • Provides technical Chinese language translation for owners and Project Directors
