This is a sales role focused on planning, organizing, implementing, optimizing and managing sales & marketing activities for MEG/DEG/TEG in North & South China, encompassing Taiwan and Hong Kong. As a key point of contact with JV SSTPC of MEG, this position entails spearheading new customer development initiatives. The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Participating in the formulation of sales plans and executing strategies to meet targets. Engaging in negotiations for both long-term agreements and spot business with customers to align with the business strategy and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Expanding the customer base through short and long-term sales agreements for all Glycols products, including MEG/DEG/TEG, in the North and South China regions. Planning and executing these agreements under the direction of the team leader.
  • Implementing the BU strategy of achieving 100% local sales in the North region of SSTPC MEG. Managing inventory levels and monthly loading schedules to ensure attainment of target inventories, and collaborating with SSTPC on commercial activities.
  • Driving Price Excellence by exploring new applications for products.
  • Providing assistance for regional purchases and sales as needed.
  • Contributing to marketing research, market segmentation, netback analysis, and other specialized projects to enhance product marketability and profitability through innovative solutions.
  • Leading the process of signing term contracts by liaising across various departments (Legal, Finance, SCM) and addressing customer feedback while advocating for SABIC's interests.
  • Ensuring compliance with SABIC's Environment, Health, Security, and Safety (EHSS) policies in all sales activities, both internally and externally.
