Your Role

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and visionary team lead for the GenAI Lighthouse, recently launched to meet the rapidly increasing demand for generative AI knowledge, solutions, and guidelines across the group.

As the Team Lead of GenAI Lighthouse, you will be responsible for leading the team to foster generative AI innovation at Atlas Copco, which entails guiding, inspiring, and sharing knowledge about how GenAI tools can enhance productivity. You will also be developing strategies and providing governance for selected GenAI platforms and solutions both internal and external. You will be supporting decision-making of generative AI initiatives across the group by providing consultation and advisory services on technology and suitable solutions. You will empower the organization to transform the way we work and interact using GenAI.

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Direction: Develop and implement a strategic vision and roadmap for the GenAI Lighthouse, guiding, inspiring, and supporting generative AI initiatives to enhance productivity in the group.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of GenAI experts, ensuring the team stay at the front edge of GenAI technology and its applications in business functions, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.Partnerships & Collaborations: Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external AI communities, cultivating knowledge sharing and collaboration to drive GenAI innovation.Consultation and Advisory: Collaborate with Group functions, Business Areas, and Divisions to provide expert consultation on GenAI questions and initiatives, serving as an advisory partner to recommend sustainable solutions.GenAI Platforms and Solutions: Oversee the development of internal GenAI platforms, ensuring they meet the needs of our users and align with our strategic vision; set directions at exploring and evaluating off-the-shelf GenAI platforms and solutions, ensuring the reinforce of security, reference architectures, and other standards.Communication & Engagement: In line with the Group IT principles, communicate the vision and progress of the GenAI Lighthouse and GenAI activities at Atlas Copco Group to stakeholders across the organization to raise awareness and level up knowledge about GenAI opportunities and potentials.

To succeed, you will need

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in leading AI or technology-focused initiatives, with a deep understanding of generative AI concepts and applications.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences.Experience in team management and leadership, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.Knowledge of security and compliance requirements related to AI technologies is desirable.
