Job Summary:

Primary Role:

A Cybersecurity Certifier III delivers high-quality Cybersecurity Services that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders and customers. These services include various customer projects such as:

  • Cybersecurity Certification
  • Cybersecurity Attestation
  • Cybersecurity Verification (non-certification) including gap assessments, cybersecurity claims verification, and system security testing
  • Cybersecurity Technical Information Service (TIS) and Training

To excel in this role, a qualified security professional must have the expertise to interpret and comprehend complex industry standards, regulations, and security threats. Responsibilities include:

  • Technical analysis and guidance
  • Product and service testing
  • Independent checks and reviews

Working Relationships:

  • Reports directly to Operations Manager, Product Group Manager (PGM), or other assigned personnel
  • Provides leadership and mentoring to cybersecurity team members and collaborators
  • Collaborates with various internal departments and teams

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and conduct Cybersecurity Services projects ensuring compliance and timeliness
  • Evaluate products and processes against standards and guidelines
  • Communicate project information accurately
  • Review complex products and services
  • Support client relationships and business development
  • Prepare project documents and estimates
  • Determine testing methods and requirements
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Provide feedback to team members and clients
  • Ensure compliance with standards and safety procedures
  • Deliver training and content to customers
  • Verify reports and calculations
  • Participate in technical network activities
  • Perform other assigned duties
  • Mentor junior staff
  • Stay updated on industry standards and regulations

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field with 8 years of experience
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, GICSP, CEH
  • Experience with security audits and assessments
  • Knowledge of industry standards like IEC, UL, ISO, and NIST frameworks
  • Understanding of security practices, governance, and risk management
  • Competency in industrial cybersecurity systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Proficiency in technical writing and reports
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Technical drawing interpretation
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office
