Job DescriptionResponsibilities

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic candidates for the position of HIL Integration Engineer in the Vehicle Integration & Validation team.

This role focuses on HIL test bench integration, execution, and ongoing development of HIL technology to improve testing capabilities.

A solid understanding of Hardware-in-the-Loop tests as they relate to systems and vehicle integration is essential. Balancing technical knowledge with practical skills and innovative problem-solving is key.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to deploy bench integration for vehicle design, development, and validation.
  • Develop and maintain test environments for automated testing and feature integration.
  • Work with software and firmware teams to ensure smooth integration and testing of development.
  • Facilitate communication between hardware engineers, controls, and software engineers for HIL integration.
  • Conduct test bench integration including brake control and EPS bench build/integration.
  • Debug system components and address HW/SW issues.
  • Be the point person for software integration troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Implement AD/ADAS feature tests for brake control and EPS bench.
  • Execute manual and automated software release tests, analyze results, and generate reports.
  • Manage projects and coordinate with external partners on test case development and execution.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in brake control and EPS module development.
  • Hands-on expertise in brake control and EPS module HW/SW or validation.
  • Understanding of ADAS features and regulations, vehicle EE architecture, and communication protocols.
  • Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and project management abilities.

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience in program management or cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with tools like Vehicle Spy, vector CANoe, and INCA.
