  • Conduct Functional Safety (FuSa) Engineering for ADAS and/or AD on system level according to ISO
  • Conduct FuSa Engineering according to ISO and Daimler guideline and project RASCI
  • Consolidate and maintain HARA analysis based on input for successful review/assessment
  • Derivate and maintain Functional Safety Concept based on HARA for successful review/assessment
  • Perform and maintain necessary safety analysis based on highest ASIL-level of responsible system for successful review/assessment
  • Create FuSa requirements on system level based on Functional Safety Concept; align with all relevant interfaces; request corresponding implementation of the FuSa requirements on system level
  • Support HW/SW team to reach end-to-end functional safety compliance
  • Conduct FuSa management with process conformity within company and/or concern and project based interface alignment
  • Ensure FuSa Milestones in project with necessary FuSa activities and working products according to safety plan
  • Align with relevant interfaces, if engineering content is necessary for specific alignment
  • Supplier safety management
  • Support system development with concept development based on regulatory and legal restrictions
  • Contribute with FuSa expertise during concept design
  • Concept evaluation from FuSa perspective
  • Support project-related discussions about CN-regulation/standards for FuSa and/or ADAS/AD
  • Contribute with experience on discussion to support standard drafting/lobbying activities of MB
Qualifikationen
  • Bachelor in automotive engineering, electrical engineering or a related field
  • Experience on FuSa Engineering of E/E systems according to ISO
  • Industrial experience in automotive industry – OEM or supplier
  • Software functional safety engineering experience
  • Ideally: development experience/Internship of ADAS/AD system
  • Reliable language skills with English or German
  • Experience on Functional Safety according to ISO, FuSa Engineering, FuSa Management up to ASIL D
  • Knowledge about FuSa and QM methodology: HARA, FTA, DFA; FMEA
  • Fundamental knowledge about quality management, product development process in automobile industry
  • Ideally: Fundamental knowledge about neighbourhood topics of FuSa for AD, e.g. SOTIF
