Tasks:
  • Conduct Functional Safety (FuSa) Engineering for ADAS and/or AD on system level following ISO standards
  • Consolidate and maintain HARA analysis for successful review
  • Derivate and maintain Functional Safety Concept (FSC) based on HARA
  • Perform necessary safety analysis based on responsible system's ASIL-level
  • Create FuSa requirements on system level and align with relevant interfaces
  • Support HW/SW team for functional safety compliance
  • Manage Functional Safety processes within the company and project interfaces
  • Ensure milestones in project with necessary FuSa activities
  • Contribute to concept development based on regulatory restrictions
  • Support project discussions regarding CN-regulation/standards for FuSa and/or ADAS/AD
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
  • Experience in FuSa Engineering of E/E systems according to ISO
  • Industry experience in automotive sector (OEM or supplier)
  • Software functional safety engineering experience
  • Reliable language skills in English or German
  • Experience in Functional Safety according to ISO standards up to ASIL D level
  • Knowledge of FuSa and QM methodology: HARA, FTA, DFA, FMEA
  • Understanding of quality management and product development processes in automobile industry
  • Ideally, knowledge of neighborhood topics of FuSa for AD, e.g., SOTIF
