Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge/Expertise
    • Technical Skills - Contribute to Zebra's technical solutions; excel in multiple areas
    • Knowledge of Zebra - Drive a segment of Zebra's Business Direction/Strategy, spanning multiple business domains
    • Sales Skills - Demonstrate proven sales leadership; define the essential sales skills for Zebra's success and the most effective means to acquire them
    • Managerial Skills - Develop policies and practices with suitable functional support; showcase exceptional managerial abilities
    • Business Acumen - Foster a broader perspective and adapt business models for sustained long-term growth; craft solutions that cater to future industry needs
    • Market/customer Knowledge - Assist customers in devising groundbreaking strategies to excel across various Zebra business landscapes
  • Solution Complexity/Strategic Thinking
    • Nature of Problems Solved - Tackle intricate problems necessitating unique solutions (e.g., integrating multiple technologies) that influence multiple Zebra businesses
    • Role in Addressing Problems - Foresee and resolve issues, take proactive actions to avert future problems

  • Customer Interface
    • Role - Typically oversee sales managers or sales personnel for the most complex clients

    • Main Level of Interaction - Define the customer interface for a segment of business or Zebra's key account; lay the groundwork for success through strategic customer interactions
    • Required Knowledge of Customer - Future industry priorities, opportunities, and threats; anticipate the future position of customers
  • Accountability
    • Business and Financial Impact - Typically direct or oversee the business outcomes for sales and non-sales departments; responsible for revenue, margins, and expenses in the current fiscal year
    • Relative Size and Scope - The individual or team managed has a substantial impact on a business and a minimum of 1-2% on Zebra or possesses strategic growth potential within one to two years
    • Types of Projects - Handle highly complex deals or substantial volume (refer to quota) where projects drive business success
    • Strategic Impact for Zebra - Significant impact in the near, mid, and long-term

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience
  • Contribute to Zebra technical solutions; excel in multiple areas
  • Demonstrate proven sales leadership; define the sales skills necessary for Zebra's success and the optimal method to acquire them
  • Establish policies and practices with suitable functional support; exhibit exceptional high-end managerial talent
