Senior Director, Business Development, Biotechnology Group China

What you'll do
- As a Sr. Director, Business Development for Danaher you will assist in aggressively growing the size of the business over the next three to five years through a combination of above-industry organic growth and strategically attractive acquisitions that will deliver strong returns on capital.
- Develop thought leadership on industry trends both emerging and established to ensure business is aligned to capitalize and establish a market leadership position. Become the expert on adjacent and core Life Science markets through primary, proprietary market work.
- Build M&A funnel for the BTG business; including investments required to the achieve strategic plan. Cultivate mid- near- and long-term target relationships with acquisition targets.
- Collaborate closely with BTG Leadership and the Danaher Corporate M&A team; lead/project manage due diligence activities, M&A strategy and post-acquisition implementations.
Who you are
- Master and/or Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences and a top-tier MBA with 8-10 years of consulting & healthcare industry experience.
- 3-5 years in a top-tier consulting firm or equivalent experience focused on market analysis and/or growth/strategy commercial project; or an investment firm including PE or VC, or equivalent experience
- Substantial experience and/or formal education that has allowed the development of a deep understanding of a domain and/or industry resulting in key customer insights and empathy. Strong financial acumen is essential for success in the role.
- Demonstrated experience with M&A transactions or diligence projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a matrix organizational environment and to interact with senior executives.
- Good written, verbal, and presentation communication skills; ability to effectively communicate complex business issues.
- External focus: understanding customer needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends, and the competitive landscape in the industry/function and considering the external impact of business activities and decisions on the external environment.
